Kiira Moore, LPC

You have made it past one of the hardest steps; looking into a provider! I have been practicing therapy since 2017 and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado since 2019. My background in therapy involves working in Child Welfare so I am familiar with complex trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress symptoms, attachment issues, and family systemic issues. I am also currently in the process of getting endorsed as an Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician.

I work with children individually (0-18) and/or the entire family to provide help with evidence-based, family systemic, attachment-informed, and trauma-responsive tools. I am trained in Synergetic Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, and in Postpartum Support International Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I am also trained in using a variety of assessment tools such as the Crowell Parent-Child Interaction Procedure, DC 0-5, Keys to Interactive Parenting Scale, and the Working Model of the Child. Starting in June I will be trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy and the Circle of Security Parenting.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Child Psychology and obtained my Master’s degree from Walden University in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. I am passionate about treating individuals within the family system but think an outlet for individuals is important as well. I am fully capable of allowing a safe space for clients to heal, repair, and connect. I can accommodate individuals and/or families via telehealth or in-person.
