As we move through life there are hurdles we encounter that can cause us to feel stuck, overwhelmed, and defeated. We may lose our sense of connection, self, or direction. Yet underneath that, I believe everyone possesses rich potential for purposeful growth and change. By cultivating resilience, nurturing curiosity, and practicing self-compassion we can soothe the parts of ourselves that need attention and feel secure in our belonging.
I utilize an integrated, attachment-based approach to therapy, working to develop a strong collaborative relationship through which life experiences can be explored, discovered, and shared in ways that shift them from distressing cycles to new levels of understanding and peace. I use this approach in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, identity development, self-esteem, and trauma. I work with a wide variety of clients 14 years or older, including those on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and BIPOC.
I have a master’s degree from Colorado State University in social work and have devoted my entire career to supporting my community members at both the micro and macro level. I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-informed counseling, somatic experiencing, and polyvagal theory. As a Licensed Social Worker, I work from an anti-racist, gender affirming, social justice lens.
I look forward to providing you a space of authenticity, warmth, and curiosity where we can create the change you seek.
